We were fortunate to have many shutterbugs for wedding guests!
They took so many great shots that we had to include a few here...
At the church we gave our female guests hand-painted sandalwood fans from China, enclosed in beautiful green silk boxes. In the photo below you can see one of the fans that I kept for myself. I had bought them in China when I was there on a business trip.
Below is our dinner menu. I spent many hours coming up with "Floribbean"-themed entrees and sides for our mainly out-of-town guests. Nothing served at the reception was from the hotel's banquet menu.
Below is our table seating chart. I imported copies of famous paintings into Illustrator, faded them out, and then layered guests' names on the top. It was very much in keeping with the hotel's artistic ambiance. So instead of being numbered, the tables had painting names.

Below is the custom cocktail menu that was displayed at the bar. I researched the recipes and gave them personalized, clever names. The "Leojito" was a favorite, very refreshing!
My baker was a saint! She was very patient with my multiple ideas and sketches, and also accommodated our custom flavor requests. We went through numerous sketch revisions before deciding on something decorative & in keeping with our color scheme, yet modern in feel.

So many thanks to my patient, loyal best friend Sharon. Her calm confidence gave me the strength throughout such an emotional day. Sharon, you are my rock!! (and you rock)
Many props to my good friend Amy Fouts who helped us coordinate the ceremony rehearsal and helped things flow smoothly the day of the wedding. You are a blessing, Amy!!
